I have been addicted to this show since I was 12 and now america is going to butcher it like every other british remake they have ever done. It's not like they can find anyone even good enough to replace Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley anyway.

I'm quite sure this was foretold by Nostradamus as the beginning of the apocalypse.
You know what else is super sad? It's going to be a toned down for puritanical American audiences which will probably mean no substance abusing, no whorish hilarities fueled by massive amounts of alcohol, no FUN!
I'm going to pretend like it's not happening. If we ignore it, it will all go away. And maybe they'll just resort to playing re-runs of the original instead. I would not have a problem with that
I think i loved eddie and patsy because of the alcohol and drugs. I think my favorite episode of all was the trip to france. Where patsy got held in lockup because of her stash of coke and then got so pissed because the copper said it wasn't the real stuff. classic!
